Purpose

You can use this report to process and visualize the sales order documents for which the PSST grouping rule of the corresponding Sold-to party should be applied. Based on the valid sales order items, the field values of the corresponding PSST grouping rule will be used to assign PSST groups.

A valid sales order item is in an active PSST sales order document, in an active PSST item category, and in an open sales order document. For generic articles, we do not assign groups or rules. In the sales order document, if at least one PSST grouping rule attribute field is empty, we do not assign groups or rules.

All the sales order items having the same PSST grouping rule and having the same values in the fields that are part of this PSST grouping rule will belong to the same PSST group after executing this report.

For more information, see Order Management --> Pack Separately -- Ship Together (PSST).

Integration

Prerequisites

To assign PSST grouping rules and PSST groups to items in your sales order, you:

  • Activate the ISR_RETAILSYSTEMbusiness function.
  • Activate the RFM_CP_PSST_GROUPchange pointer.
  • Add the Pack Separately – Ship Together (PSST) (RFM_PSST) authorization to your user.
  • Create a PSST grouping rule in transaction PSST Grouping Rules (RFM_PSST_GRA).
  • Assign a PSST grouping rules to the customer in transaction BP by choosing a relevant Sales Areaand specifying a grouping rule under PSST Grouping Ruleon the Retail Additional Datatab.
  • Define two number ranges from the PSST groups RFM_PSST_G and for the PSST application log RFM_PSST_G.

Features

You can execute this report in one of the following modes:

  • PSST Group Assignment Monitor
Distributes all valid sales order items without PSST groups into groups based on the selected PSST grouping rule(s). The report is only executed for the sales orders that are selected using the selection criteria, which you specify on the General Data, Organizational Data, Article Data, and Sales Order Datatabs.
Additionally, you can select one of the following:
  • PSST Group Application Log,,

Generates an application log for the RFM_PSST_GROUPobject and RFM_PSST_GROUP_ASSIGsub-object to record the results of the PSST Group Assignment Monitor.
  • PSST Group Simulation

Runs the PSST Group Assignment Monitor in simulation mode, without assigning the sales order items to PSST groups.
Note: You can run the PSST Group Assignment Monitor in background mode.

  • PSST Group Redetermination
Redetermines the assignment of the sales order items to PSST groups according to changes made to the sales order or sales order items themselves or to the PSST Grouping Ruleassigned to a corresponding customer.
You must specify the redermination criteria:
  • Group

Redetermines the grouping of the sales order items if the value of a field that is also an attribute in the PSST grouping rule is changed. This will only apply to sales orders filtered through the selection criteria.
For example, Rule 1 contains attribute Ship-to party. This rule is assigned to Customer A. SO 1 is created and saved with customer A as Sold-to party and Ship-to party. Then, if the Ship-to party is changed from A to B, the PSST grouping of the sales order items in Sales Order 1 will be redetermined.
  • Rule and Group

Redetermines the PSST grouping rule and the PSST grouping of the sales order items for open sales orders where the PSST grouping rule assigned to the Customer and Sales Areacombination has been changed. This will apply only to sales orders filtered through the selection criteria.
  • For example, you change the PSST grouping rule of customer A from Rule 1 to Rule 2, then the sales orders where the Sold-to party is customer A can have their sales order items' rules and groups redetermined.

Rule and Group for All
Redetermines the PSST grouping rule and the PSST grouping of the sales order items for all open sales orders of a customer if the PSST grouping rule assigned to the Customer and Sales Area combination in transaction BP has been changed. Unlike the Rule and Groupoption, this will apply not only to the sales orders filtered through the selection criteria, but also to all other sales orders where the sales order items have the same PSST group as the ones filtered through the selection criteria.
For example, you change the PSST grouping rule of customer A from Rule 1 to Rule 2, then the sales orders where the Sold-to party is customer A must have their items' rule and groups redetermined. Since one of the changed sales orders contains items assigned to PSST Group 1, then all other sales orders with items assigned to PSST Group 1 will also be redetermined.
Additionally, you can select one of the following:
  • PSST Group Application Log,,

Generates an application log for the RFM_PSST_GROUPobject and RFM_PSST_GROUP_ASSIGsub-object to record the results of the PSST Group Assignment Monitor when the assignment is run in background mode.
  • PSST Group Simulation

Runs the PSST Group Assignment Monitor in simulation mode, without assigning the sales order items to PSST groups.
Note: You can run the PSST Group Redetermination in background mode.

  • PSST Group Visualization
Generates a report of the existing PSST groups and assignments to valid sales order items. The report displays: information on the PSST grouping rules and PSST groups; sales order and sales order item assignment to PSST grouping rules and PSST groups; Cumulated KPIs about Order Allocation; and cumulated sales order item quantities. This will apply only to sales orders filtered through the selection criteria, unless you enable the Select All Documents of PSSToption.
Additionally, you can select the following:
  • Select All Documents of PSST

When enabled, the report includes existing PSST groups for the sales orders filtered through the selection criteria and all other sales orders where the sales order items have the same group as the ones filtered through the selection criteria.

Output

Order Allocation

Now that the PSST groups are created and assigned to sales orders items, you can use the PSST groups to perform allocation checks in Supply Assignment (ARun). PSST groups can be used in Supply Assignment(ARun) release rules in transaction ARUN_ITAR.

Outbound Delivery

You can create Outbound Delivery documents that inherit the PSST group information from the corresponding sales order items. By doing so, the PSST information will act as an indicator for a delivery split, meaning sales order items with different PSST groups will not be in the same Outbound Delivery. If there are no indicators for a delivery split, then all the sales order items (according to the selection criteria) with the same PSST group will be grouped together in an outbound document
