RMPSU_VITAL_RECORDS - Configure Vital Record Check

In this IMG activity, you define periodicities for vital record checks.

Vital record checks are a functional component of the DoD (US Department of Defense) standard in RMPS.

Vital records must be checked at regular intervals. You define the associated settings in the attributes Vital, Periodicity, and Check Date in the related categories or records. You can trigger a vital record check in an event-driven e-mail, for example. For more information about this function, see the programm documentation for the program RMPS_VITAL_RECORDS.

The following attributes must exist in the attribute models you use:

• RMPSU_VITAL_IND

• RMPSU_VITAL_PER

• RMPSU_VITAL_DAT

For event processing you must activate the events VITALRECDUEREVIEW and LINKSCHANGED in the table SWFDVEVTY1 for the BOR object RMPSPRO. You can also define this event type in the IMG activity Determine Data Update for Disposal Changes.

SAP delivers some example entries. The attributes discussed above are defined accordingly in the shipped DoD attribute models.

Check the example entries and add new entries or delete entries as required.
