In this IMG activity, you specify number ranges for number assignment for

labels (number range object LBL_ID).

Note

Labeling in PLM Web UI uses internal label IDs for external label keys.

You need authorization to specify number ranges.

Choose the Ranges button and enter the required data.

Labeling also uses the following number ranges internally:

  • LBL_STATUS for status object numbers
  • LBL_STMT for statement numbers (for example, marketing statements)
  • LBL_USAGE for label usage numbers

Check whether the necessary intervals are available for all number range objects. Do the following:

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen choose Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Development -> Other Tools -> Number Ranges.
  2. Enter the number range object, for example LBL_STATUS for status object numbers, and choose Ranges.
  3. Define the missing intervals for each of the number range objects as discribed in the following table:
No From Number To Number NR Status Ext
LBL_ID E1 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ 0 x
LBL_ID I1 10000000000000000000 99999999999999999999 0 -
LBL_STATUS I1 000000000001 899999999999 0 -
LBL_STMT I1 000000000001 999999999999 0 -
