RMS_FRM_62 - Specify Explosion Scopes

Explosion scopes control the formula explosions that are performed in Recipe Management. For information on which explosion scope is used with which function in Recipe Management, see the Recipe Management documentation under Explosion Scope. In this IMG activity, you make the following settings for the explosion scopes supplied with the standard system:

• You specify parameters that control the formula explosion

• You specify whether the system determines the formulas from the substances or materials in the explosion and whether it uses the substance and material data from the formulas it finds in the explosion

In the Specify Events IMG activity, you define how different component types are taken into account in the different events in Recipe Management. This means, you specify whether the event is performed for a particular component type and whether the component type is transferred to the result of the event. Every explosion scope has an event assigned to it. Therefore, the settings for the event assigned to the explosion scope apply in formula explosion. This means, the setting for the event controls whether the formula explosion is carried out for a particular component type and whether the quantities of the component of the component type are transferred to the result of the formula explosion. In this IMG activity, you can display the assignment of events to explosion scopes in the system.

You have defined the necessary events in the Specify Events IMG activity.

Check the standard settings and add to them if necessary. Note that you cannot define any new explosion scopes.
