RMS_RCP_30 - Determine Recipe Properties

In this IMG activity, you determine the attributes of your recipe types. You specify, for example:

• Whether and how you use status management for recipes

• How formulas and production versions are assigned to your recipes

• How you use engineering change management in the recipe

• Which recipe views you want to use

You have defined the recipe types you require in Customizing for iPPE (see Set Up iPPE for Recipes). Depending on the attributes you want to activate for your recipes, you also need to make the following settings:

• Set Up User Status Profile

• Set Up Link to Distributed Production Versions

• Maintain Profile for Change Master Records
  (see Customizing for Engineering Change Management )

• Set Up Name Assignment for Change Statuses

1. Check which functions and attributes you need for your recipe types.
2. Make the relevant settings for the iPPE node types of your recipe types.
