RMX_0009 - Define Trial Views
RFUMSV00 - Advance Return for Tax on Sales/Purchases Addresses (Business Address Services)This documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this IMG activity, you define the trial views for trial management.
The trial views are used for creating and displaying trial data in the recipe workbench. Each view is responsible for specific, related trial data.
In addition to the trial views, the search views for the trial information system are contained in this IMG activity.
SAP provides the following trial views with the associated function groups:
BASIC | Basic Data |
CI | Customer-Specific Fields |
CLASS | Classification |
DOC | Documents |
FRMPL | Formula Maintenance |
FRMRE | Formula Results |
MONI | Monitor |
PPRES | Process Parameter Results |
QMBB | QM Stability Study Planning |
QMCO | QM Inspection Results |
QMCO1 | QM Inspection Results: Stability Study |
QMPL | Quality Planning |
RESS | Resources |
RTFTXT | Long Text Maintenance |
SCHED | Planning 1 |
SAP provides the following search views for the trial information system:
SEAQ_ABOVE | QM Building Block |
SEAQ_BASIC | Basic Data |
SEAQ_INISA | Initial Sample |
SEAQ_STORC | Storage Conditions |
SEA_ABOVE | Find |
SEA_BASIC | Basic Data |
SEA_CLASS | Classification |
SEA_EXECUT | Execution |
SEA_FRML | Formula Results |
SEA_PPPARA | Process Parameter Results |
SEA_QM | Quality Management |
Note:
- In the provided views, you can change the short and long descriptions and the view icon.
- In the provided views, do not change the program name or the screen number, since this can result in the relevant view no longer functioning.
- Do not delete any of the provided views. If you do not require one of the provided views, you can hide it.
Defining function groups for trial views
When a trial is displayed in the workbench, the system determines the active views from Customizing and calls them via the relevant function groups. For a user-specific view, you require a function group together with the function modules anticipated by the calling environment. Function group RMST101 is available as a template for this purpose.
- Copy function group RMST101. For the new function group, use a name from the customer namespace (Y* or Z*).
- Note that customer data that is not in the customer namespace can be overwritten in the event of a release upgrade.
- The trial view is created in the function group with the number 8010 and, like the screen in the template, must be a Subscreen.
- In accordance with the requirements of your trial view, add a code to the function module you have copied and activate the function modules.
- In the IMG activity for defining views, assign the new view a suitable identification from the customer namespace (Y* or Z*). Enter the screen number and function group name (with prefix 'SAPL') in the view definition.
- If you define pushbuttons on the screen, use a unique prefix at the start of the name for the underlying function code.
The following modules are required in the view group; <FUGR> stands for the name of the function group:
Function Module | Documentation |
---|---|
RMST101_TABSCREEN_INIT | |
RMST101_TABSCREEN_OPEN | |
RMST101_OKCODE_HANDLER | |
RMST101_TABSCREEN_CLOSE | |
RMST101_EXIT |
The following function groups have been implemented for certain views:
- MXT202 TMS-DIA: View - Basic Data
- RMXT207 TMS-DIA: View - Documents
- RMXT710 TMS-TLS: View - Trial Monitor
Creating user-specific trial views
- For each user-specific view, define a function group.
- Choose a suitable identification from the customer namespace (Y* or Z*).
- Assign the screen number and the supporting program to the relevant function group.
- Specify a short and long description as well as a view icon.
- Save your entries.
Defining view groups
View groups are used to group several views as one related unit. In the IMG activity Define Trial Types, you can assign a view group to a trial type.
View groups are already defined in this IMG activity. You can also create user-specific view groups. When an existing view group is copied, the system copies all the settings for that view group.
Within the view groups, you can also define the order in which you want to display the views in the workbench.
SAP provides the following trial view groups:
HR01 | Trial Collection |
GR01 | Trial Group |
GR02 | Pilot Plant Trial Group |
TR01 | Bench Scale Trial |
TR02 | Pilot Plant Trial |
TR03 | Factory Trial |
SAP provides the following view groups for the trial information system and for the QM building block information system:
TRIAL_IS | Trial Info System |
QMBB_IS | QM BB Info System |
- Determine the order in which you want to display the views in the workbench.
- You can create a new view group using the copy function and change the assigned views. You then assign the new view group to the required trial types.
Note
- If you do not require a particular view, you can remove it from the view group. In doing so, you delete only the assignment of this view to the group and not the view itself. This affects all of the trial types that use this view group.
- Certain view groups can be used only if the relevant object categories are assigned to the trial type to which the view group is assigned. The Document view is useful only for trial types that are assigned to the object category DOCU (document). The system checks such inconsistencies and does not display the relevant view.
