With the Business Add-In (BAdI) RM_MF50_ROWS, you can hide individual line types (for example, available quantity) for particular planning segments in the planning table in Repetitive Manufacturing.

It is also possible to hide lines by default, from the menu in the planning table. Choose View -> User settings and then the Line selection tab page. The settings are then valid for all planning segments. It is, however, not possible to hide certain lines in particular planning segments only.

You can use this Business Add-In when the existing control for hiding lines is not sufficient.

  • The Business Add-In is not active in the standard system.
  • The Business Add-In is not filter-dependent.
  • The Business Add-In cannot be used more than once.

During gross requirements planning, production is usually executed according to an existing production plan (planned independent requirements). Other information (such as available quantity) is not relevant for production. You can do without the corresponding lines in the planning table. For other planning segments (such as sales order planning), however, all lines should be visible according to the user settings.

The example code for the BADI method HIDE_ROWS makes this program behavior possible, in other words, for the planning segment gross requirements planning, the user settings for controlling that all lines are shown, for example, are overridden.
