RPCATSDYNSTRUC - CATS: Manage Dynamic Structures for User Profiles

As system administrator, you use this report to create and delete user interface (UI) structures for time recording data entry profiles, which are used in Time Recordingapplication in Employee Self Services (ESS) Web Dynpro ABAP. These structures enable you to load the application faster, and to display the personal value list onscreen when it is accompanied by the appropriate Customizing.

1.,,Set up your data entry profiles under Set up Data Entry Profiles.

2.,,Maintain the field selections for the data entry profiles under Choose Fields.

3.,,To enable employees use personal value lists in the Time Recording application, maintain your search helps under Modify Possible Entries Help.

Note:

When you create your search helps in the data dictionary, the importing and exporting parameters must be maintained correctly.

4.,,You must enter the data entry profile for which to create or delete a corresponding UI structure. If the data entry profile is not entered, this report displays a warning message to confirm that the system automatically creates structures or deletes existing structures for all data entry profiles.

5.,,You may specify the client from which the time recording data entry profile is read before creating the structures.

6.,,If you wish not to transport the structures created in the system, select the Create Local Structures onlycheckbox.

You can create structures as local objects in the system without providing a correction request to transport the objects.

When you execute the report, the system displays a list of profiles in the Review Changesscreen. Select a profile and choose either the Create Structuresbutton or the Delete Structures button, as required.
