In this Customizing activity, you define Control Codes which specify which Write Preference should be used, which Order Time Buffer is set and which Status Determination Code should be used for purchase order processing.

The write preference defines how the purchase order item is overwritten by order items that come with different order lists. If it is set to Manual, an order item that is marked as coming from a manual replenishment process always overwrites the existing purchase order item. With the setting Automatic, the items from an automatic replenishment process always overwrite the existing purchase order item. If the write preference is not specified, the last incoming order item overwrites previous changes to the purchase order item.

The Order Time Buffer sets the time that is used to define the buffer between the order time and the earliest release of a purchase order. Every order item that comes into processing after this buffer time has passed is ignored for further processing or can be processed in a BAdI implementation.
