RSM_VC_TEAMCATEG_C - Define Team Categories

Creates team categories and maps function profiles to the team categories.

You can use a team category to identify a business process for which teams are created. A team category also defines the attributes of the business process.

In this Customizing activity, you can create team categories and map function profiles to a team category.

The function profiles are mapped based on the functions they perform.

This Customizing activity consists of two sub tasks:

Creating a team category

Assigning function profiles to a team category

Create a Team Category

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Enter the team category.

Note: The team category has to be unique.

1. Enter the team category description.
2. Choose Save.

Assign Function Profile to the Team Category

Note: You can assign a function profile to a team category only once.

1. Select a team category.
2. Choose and double-click on Team Category and Function Profile Mapping.
3. Choose New Entries.
4. Select a function profile.

Note: You can only select from the existing list of function profiles.

1. Choose Save.
