RTC_ACTIVATEMODEL - Finalize and Activate Real-Time Consolidation Model

In this Customizing activity, you complete the creation and activation of the Real-Time Consolidation model, after you have set up the integration with BPC.

• You have created the consolidation model in Customizing for Financial Accounting (New) under Real-Time Consolidation-> Consolidation Model Definition-> Create Consolidation Model.

• You have performed the required activities in Customizing for Financial Accounting (New) under Real-Time Consolidation -> BPC Integration.

After you successfully define your BPC model, you return to the Real-Time Consolidation modeling tool (transaction RTCMD) in this activity to do the following additional settings:

1. Enter a descriptive name in Model Description field.
2. In BPC Integration tab, assign the BPC consolidation environment and model.
3. In Version tab, define BPC categories and map them to RTC versions if you haven't done so in Customizing activity Create Consolidation Model.
4. Activate the real-time consolidation model.

Note:All settings mapped between RTC and BPC will be checked for model consistency, such as dimension types, fiscal year variant, chart of accounts, etc. Any inconsistency will prevent model activation.
