RTC_FLEXUPLOAD_INIT - Initial Upload of Consolidation Documents

In this Customizing activity, you initialize the dataset in the consolidation journal (table ACDOCC) using flexibly uploaded documents. This step is only necessary if your consolidation-relevant data resides outside of the universal journal, for example, in non-SAP systems.

You have set up Real-Time Consolidation and finalized your consolidation model.

1. Download the required template by entering a model and choosing Download Template.
2. When filling out the template, make sure data in local and group currencies be separated into different rows according to the currency codes. The system treats the rows with amounts entered in HSL (Local Currency) as local data inputs, ignoring any other amount inputs in the same row. The group currency amounts should be maintained in other rows with inputs in KSL (Global Currency), while keeping the HSL (Local Currency) field empty.
3. Before uploading the file, specify values for required fields on the initial selection screen. That is, fill in the fields Category and Fiscal Period.
4. Upload the completed template file.
5. Based on the uploaded file, new consolidation documents are posted into the consolidation journal (table ACDOCC).
