RTC_HANACALCVIEWS - Create BW InfoObjects

In this Customizing activity, you create BW InfoObjects for characteristic fields of consolidation foundation views.

1. You have installed SAP HANA Studio with BW Modeling add-on. Refer to https://help.sap.com/viewer/a2a49126a5c546a9864aae22c05c3d0e/2.0.01/en-US for Installation Procedure.
2. You have created the consolidation foundation view in Customizing for Financial Accounting (New) under Real-Time Consolidation -> Consolidation Model Definition -> Create Consolidation Foundation View.
3. You have generated the required SAP HANA calculation views, based on your foundation view, in Customizing for Financial Accounting (New) under Real-Time Consolidation -> Consolidation Model Definition -> Create Consolidation Model. The RTC modeling tool helps you to generate the required views based on your foundation views.

To facilitate your modeling work, SAP delivers standard BW virtual InfoObjects and their corresponding SAP HANA calculation views. To use them, you need to activate the BW contents in InfoArea '/ERP/RTC'.

Activate the standard-delivered InfoObjects, or build your own InfoObjects (virtual or physical).

You can combine virtual and physical InfoObjects in same virtual provider. It's recommended to use virtual InfoObjects to eliminate data replication from your transaction systems.
