S4CRM_PLANT_SRV - Assign Plant and Storage Location to Service Employee and Country/Region

In this configuration activity, you can assign employee-specific plants and storage locations to service employees.

This assignment is required when S/4HANA Service integrates with the logistics and billing scenarios. For example, you use this assignment to

• Enable the system to correctly post goods movements for service parts in a pick-from-stock scenario in logistics.

• Enable the system to correctly determine delivery address during procurement processes in logistics when a service employee orders a service part. In this case, the system uses the address of the storage location assigned to the plant as the default delivery address.

When you enter the business partner ID of a service employee, ensure that the employee is defined as a valid business partner of the type employee. Also ensure that the plant you enter, is defined for the country/region.
