Define account assignment categories used for procurement processes.

In this configuration activity, you define the account assignment category used when you procure service performers or service parts in service transactions.

The account assignment category defines the type of account, such as a general ledger account or cost center, to which costs resulting from the procurement of service performers or service parts are allocated.

The system uses the account assignment category R (Service Order) for service transactions.

You can define the account assignment category per transaction type and item category if required.
