SAFM_APV_COLEX_ACT - Activate Collective Expenditure Order Functionality

In this customizing activity, you specify the date from which the collective expenditure order functionality must be activated for a company code.

If you do not specify an activation date value for a company code, collective expenditure order functionality remains inactive for that company code.

This is how the solution behaves based on the activation date:

• Before the activation date: Accounting documents (with document types assigned using customizing activity Define Expenditure Order Document Types) with posting date before the activation date are posted directly as expenditure orders. You can view and manage these expenditure orders using the Expenditure Order Dashboard(transaction code SAEXP).

• On and after the activation date: Accounting documents (with document types assigned using customizing activity Define Collective Expenditure Order Document Types) with posting date on or after the activation date are not posted directly as expenditure orders. These documents are listed on the Create Collective Expenditure Ordertransaction (transaction code SACEXP01). You can create collective expenditure orders by selecting one or more of these accounting documents.

Suppose we set the activation date as 1 April 2021. Then an accounting document with posting date 31 March 2021 will be posted as an expenditure order. An accounting document with posting date 2 April 2021 will be listed on the Create Collective Expenditure Ordertransaction and you will be able to select it while creating collective expenditure order.
