This function (transaction SARJ) lets you search for and display archived case data. You could use this function, for example, if you want to search for archived cases that may relate to current, active cases, or to see the history of archived cases. After a list of cases is generated, you can export it to a file or spreadsheet for further analysis.

The Archive Explorer accesses the archive index structures that have been created and stored in transparent database tables using the Archive Retrieval Configurator. Furthermore, this transaction allows direct accesses of individual data objects in the archive, which can then be displayed in both technical and application-specific views.

1.,,After you execute the activity, the Archive Retrieval Configurator opens. Enter the archive infostructure SAP_CRM_CMG.

2.,,From the pull-down menus, choose Environment → Archive Explorer.

3.,,Enter the following parameters and then press the Evaluate icon (F8):

• Archiving Object: SCMG

• Archive InfoStructure: SAP_CRM_CMG

4.,,Search for archived cases by type, ID or external reference. In the list that is returned, you can click to see details of each case.
