In this step, you can create or maintain user tables.

If you do not use most of the fields (dimensions) in a table, you can create your own user table. This user table contains only the dimensions that you need for working in the Special Purpose Ledger system.

  1. Select "Edit" -> "New entries" in the menu bar.
  2. Enter the name of the user table that you want to create and the name of the table that contains the fields that you want to use for your user table.
  3. Enter a description for the user table, if required.
  4. Under the "Navigation" group heading, select the "User table fields" button.
  5. On the following screen, select "New entries" and enter the names of the fields that you want to include in your new user table.
  6. If you want the user table fields to appear in a certain order, enter numbers that correspond to the field sequence in the "No." field.
For example, if you want the field "Account" to appear first in your user table, type 1 in the "No." field next to the respective account field.
  1. To create your user table, select "Table view" -> "Save".
