SIMG_CFMENUNMO1ON18 - Maintain Titles / Name Affixes
PERFORM Short Reference BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you maintain the following:
- Titles (that can be positioned before and after the person's name)
- Name prefixes
- Name suffixes
IS-H supports the entry of titles (only those that appear in front of the person's name), name prefixes, and name suffixes in the patient master and in business partner data.
If you select the indicator Long Fields for Patient/Patient Address Active in the client-specific control settings,
you can maintain an additional long output text for titles (only those that appear in front of the name), name prefixes, and name suffixes - see
Set Client-Specific Control Parameters.
You can then use this long text as input help (F4) in the application and in country-specific data transfer.
Note: Where the short output texts are the same, you should also maintain identical long output texts.
- Enter an identifier for the title/name prefix/name suffix.
- Enter a corresponding output text.
- You must specify an affix type (field Type) to each entry so that it can be assigned to these four groups. The value help lists the valid affix types.
- Maintenance of the DUEVO (DUEVO compliant) indicator is not relevant for IS-H.
You want to maintain the title MD. To do this, the table must be as follows:
Type | Name Affix | Output Text | DUEVO |
---|---|---|---|
T | MD | MD | |
T | Dr | MD |
MD and Dr are valid entries in the application. Once you have confirmed your entries, the system always displays the text MD.
If you use the output text (long) actively, you must also ensure that the system is always able to assign the same output text (long) to an output text that you enter:
Type | Name Affix | Output Text | DUEVO | Output Text (Long) |
---|---|---|---|---|
T | MD | MD | Medical Doctor | |
T | Dr | MD | Medical Doctor | |
If you enter an identifier for a name affix in the application, the system determines the output text and copies it to the input field. You should therefore ensure that each output text is defined as an identifier (see Maintain Forms of Address).
