SIMG_CFMENUNMO4ONC8 - Maintain Message Fields

In this IMG activity, you maintain message fields. Usually this is not necessary, unless you use your own fields in segments you have created. If you use additional fields, you also have to fill them using your own FORM routines.

Only use field names starting with "Y" or "Z". These name ranges are reserved for you and will not be overwritten by SAP.

1. Before creating new fields, check whether you can use a modified field. An alternative field length (Actual Field Length attribute for the segment-to-field assignment) together with your own customer segment routine is sufficient in most cases.
2. If an "original field" does not exist, create a new field by copying an appropriate template. You should use the 'FILLERxx' field with the corresponding length as a template within the SAP-HCM standard.
