In this IMG activity, you define which geographical areas (individual or totaled) are to be output in which order and with which text in geographical area statistics RNSEZG01.

You must have created geographical areas in the geographical area catalog. For more information about this, refer to the section entitled Maintain Geographical Areas.

  1. Enter the institution
  2. Assign a row number for the output sequence in the Row field.
  3. Maintain the country for which you want to enter the geographical areas in the Ctr field.
  4. In the G.Area Fr and G.Area To fields, enter the geographical areas that are to be output beneath the row number you have just specified. The following possibilities exist:
  • Enter a geographical area code in the G.Area From field. Only figures for this one geographical area will be output in this row.

  • Enter a geographical area interval in both fields. All figures of the geographical area codes within this interval will be output in this row.

  • You can also make generic entries for the geographical area codes. In other words, if you enter the geographical area code 003, all geographical areas which start with 003 are combined. This specification is particularly useful for totals rows. Do not end generic entries with an *.

  1. Note that leading zeros must be included in the specification of geographical area codes.
  2. Maintain the name of output row in the Name of Geographical Area field.
  3. In the P field, you can specify in which format the row is output in statistics. You list the valid input values by calling the value help for this field.

If you display many totals rows, you should make these stand out by using indentation and highlighting.
