In this IMG activity, you define the validity period for services (service master records) for a particular institution. When you create a master record, the system fills the date fields (start date, end date) with the values specified here.

You must have created the institution to which these settings are to apply.

Predefined entries for the start date (parameter LST_BEG) and the end date (parameter LST_END) for institution 0001 are delivered in the standard system. You can change these values.

You should create entries for other institutions by copying the existing entries (overwrite the institution in an existing entry).

On no account delete the entry for institution "0001".

Define the validity period for service master records by specifying

• The institution (under a four-character key) in the Inst. field

• The service start or end date in the Value field.
