SIMG_CFMENUNMOGON41 - Assign Distribution Channels to Case Types

In this IMG activity, you assign a distribution channel to each case type. The distribution channel is an organizational concept from the Sales and Distribution component of the SAP standard system and is also used for billing in the hospital system. It represents the case type when determining the pricing procedure. This enables the case type to be used as a criterion in pricing. It can be used to determine a particular pricing procedure.

You must have created the distribution channels you want to assign to the case types.

In general, you assign the same distribution channel (e.g. 01) to all case types. However, you can use this assignment (and a corresponding rule in procedure determination) to determine a separate pricing procedure for outpatient cases, for example.

Assign a distribution channel to a case type by entering the corresponding key in the DChn field.
