In this Customizing activity, you stipulate, for each institution, the service catalog column that is to be used for the different billing types for determining the basic price when services are billed for.

You must have created the institution, service catalogs and their columns, as well as the billing types you want to use in this configuration table.

You make an entry for catalog column determination by specifying:

• The institution (under a four-character key) in the Inst. field

• The rule type, usually AB (= billing)

• The identification key of the relevant service catalog

• The external billing type in the BT field

• The validity period in the Valid From and Valid To fields

• The catalog column containing the values (prices) to be used
