SIMG_CFMENUNMOHON02 - Define Assignment Type for Grouping Services

In this IMG activity, you specify which assignment type you wish to use for creating service groups for insurance verification purposes in a particular institution. These service groups are used to group together services when pre-approved insurance and default values are entered.

You must have already created the institution and the assignment type.

If you also use service groups for the input help in service entry and for the service rules, you should create a separate assignment type for the service groups you want to use in relation to insurance verification.

You maintain the assignment type for creating service groups for insurance verification as follows:

• In the dialog box, enter the institution for which you want to maintain the parameter. Confirm your entry by choosing ENTER.

• In the resulting list, select Patient Accounting. Maintain the Assignment type for creating service groups for insur.verif. parameter, and then save your data.

The technical name of the relevant system parameter is KUEZOTYP.
