In this IMG activity, you specify the default value of the Create Customer field in the IS-H customer or in the insurance relationship for self-payers/copayers on an institution basis. In this way, you can automatically create FI customers from the IS-H System and thereby reduce user input.

You need to have already created the institution to which this setting is to apply.

Default value entries for institution 0001 are delivered in the standard system. You can change these values.

You must not delete the entries for institution S0001.

You default the Create Customer field in the insurance relationship for self-payers/copayers by specifying

  • The institution (under a four-character key) in the Inst. field
  • The value in the Value field
  • flagged = yes

  • not flagged = no

The technical name of the parameter is FI_DEBGP or FI_DEBSZ.
