In this step, you can define groups for variant functions. You can then use the groups as search criteria to find variant functions.

You can enter a group for a function on the basic data screen of function maintenance in the variant configuration menu.

You can create group TEST to group together all variant functions that you create for test purposes. You can use the search functions to find all variant functions in group TEST.

You can use groups in the productive system to group together all functions that belong to the knowledge base of a configurable material.

Create groups according to your requirements.
