SIMG_CFMENUOFDIFO1R - Lease-Out Deposit - Maintain Deposit Types

In this section, you create the deposit types that are provided for rental agreements. Deposit types can be flagged as cash deposit.

1. Check the standard system and change this, if necessary
2. Enter the following in required deposit types (New entries function):
1. Rental deposit: One-digit key of the deposit type.
2. Cash deposit: If this indicator is set, the deposit can be paid in cash. In this case, the system generates entries for the deposit amount and the interest in the cash flow.
   In the case of a cash deposit, you should make sure that a flow type for interest payments is defined. This is flow type '6018' in the standard system, which is used for internal movement type 'A'. The cash flow calculation program needs this internal movement type since monthly interest payments are determined from the cash deposit, to which the tenant is also entitled after the cash deposit has been refunded.
3. Specify a long and a short name for the deposit type.
3. Delete the deposit types you do not need.
4. Save your entries.
