SIMG_CFMENUOHP1HFW10 - Define Your Own Column Groups/Change Column Group Text
CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES - Frontend Services PERFORM Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
To define a column group, you must carry out steps 1 and 2 as explained below. You may also need to first carry out steps 3 and 4.
A column group is defined by a unique column group key and an optional name. The name is just for documentation purposes and does not appear on the interface.
Instead of grouping together existing or newly-created columns to make a column group (steps 1-4), you can generate a query column group using the ARRAY_CREATE transaction. In that case, you do not need to carry out the steps below.
- In the Create Column Group Key step, make the following settings:
- In the Column Group field, enter a unique column group key. The optional name is just for documentation purposes and does not appear on the interface.
- In the Group Columns Together as Column Group and Set Visibility Attributes step, make the following settings:
- To the column group key you created in step 1, add the keys of the columns that you want to group together.
- The entries in the Position field determine the display sequence of the columns from left to right.
- Definition of the following attributes is optional:
- Define Your Own Column step: see the documentation for the Define Your Own Column activity.
- Define Your Own Coherence Relationships step: see the documentation for the Define Your Own Coherence Relationships activity.
