In this step you can customize existing Column groups.

In the activity Customize Existing Column Group, make the following settings:

• In the Column groups field, enter the column group key of the column group you want to customize. If the the OM_ARRAYTYPE_DISPLAY parameter is set, you can find out the column group key of the column group currently being displayed, and information about which columns are assigned to the group, by choosing Technical Info in the column configuration dialog box.

• In the Column field, enter the key of the column which is to be added, or whose attributes are to be changed. You can see the attributes of columns already assigned to an SAP column group in the view V77ACOL.

• In the Position field you can determine the position of the column within the column group.

You can also specify the following attributes (optional):

• Fixed Column

• Coherence Relationship

• Never Display

• Hidden by Default

• Cannot Be Hidden

To see his or her adjustments in the tree/grid, a user may have to delete his or her user-specific view of the changed column group. This is done using the transaction DELETE_COL_SETTINGS. It is only necessary when the user adds a NEW column.
