You can use a couple of interfaces to enhance the usage of central task lists that describe maintenance work independent of the location where it is finally carried out.

To use these enhancements that were created by SAP with transaction SMOD, create a project for SAP enhancements, using transaction CMOD.

You can use the following interfaces to enhance the usage of central task lists:

  • Finding the valid plant and storage location for a component (CNEX0027)
You can use this customer enhancement to perform a plant or location determination for a component. The system processes the function module when the central task list is exploded into the maintenance or service order.
The customer exit must return data for the export parameters COMP_PLANT (plant) and STOR_LOC (storage location).
  • Changing purchase requisition for an externally processed operation (COZF0001)
You can use this customer enhancement to change the purchase requisition that results from an externally processed operation.
  • Selecting Task List based on order header data (IWO20001)
You can use this customer enhancement to specify your customer-specific selection options for selecting maintenance task lists to be copied to the order. You can select task lists via the notifications for the order, the work center, the maintenance planner group or the maintenance planning plant in the notification or order header.

For more information, see the documentation Usage of Central Task Lists in PM/CS Orders on SAP Help Portal.
