Define plant sections to divide maintenance plants into production areas in Plant Maintenance.
You define your plant section in this step.
The plant section enables you to subdivide the maintenance plant from the point of view of production
responsibility. The group of employees responsible for the plant section is the contact for coordination
between Production and Plant Maintenance.
The plant section can be used for evaluation purposes.
Every piece of equipment and functional location can be assigned to a plant section. You can also specify a plant section when processing maintenance tasks.
