In this work step, you have the opportunity to determine the number range interval for the info sets in the Logistics Information Library.

Use the number range 00000001 - 00099999 for issuing the internal number range. When issuing external number ranges, you may only use those numbers that do not lie in this number range.

the number range 01000000 - 99999999 is reserved for the info sets that are included in the standard SAP R/3 system.

You should only use those numbers that do not lie within this number range interval.

Also note that overwritting is possible with every Release or put change.

Determine the number range interval for the info set.

To transport number range intervals, from the initial screen, select Interval -> Transport.

When transporting number range intervals, all of the already existing intervals will be deleted in the target system. After importing, only the intervals that are to be exported will be available.

The status of the numbers will be imported with the value that you will have at the time of the export.

Dependent tables are neither transported nor converted.
