SIMG_CFMENUOLMPORLNA - Define Number Ranges for Returnable Packaging Accounts
BAL Application Log Documentation General Material DataThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this step, you create the number ranges for returnable packaging accounts.
There are two types of number assignment:
- Internal number assignment
- The system automatically assigns a sequence number from the defined number range when a returnable packaging account is created.
- External number assignment
- You manually enter a number from the external number range when you create a returnable packaging account.
When creating a number range, you specify whether it is internal or external.
Number range objects can be transported as follows:
In the initial screen, select Interval -> Transport.
You must make sure that all intervals for the selected number range object have been deleted in the target system, so that only the exported intervals exist after the import. The current number levels are transported with the same value as they have at time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
In order to define a number range, you must insert a new number interval:
- For an internal number range, use interval '1', for an external, interval '2'.
- Enter the limits of the number interval. The individual number intervals must not overlap. Each number can only be used once.
- If the number range is to be used for external assignment, set the appropriate indicator.
