Use this activity to check that customers , materials, and document types have been assigned to update groups at item level

You assign customers, materials, and document item types to update groups by using statistic groups that you define in Customizing for the Logistics Information System under Statistic Groups. You assign these statistic groups to the individual objects, for instance a customer, when you edit these objects.

You can for instance enter a statistics group for a customer in the customer master data on the Sales tab page in the sales area data.

Similarly you enter a statistics group for a material in the materials master on the Sales: sales org. 2 tab page in the standard system.

You assign statistic groups to document item types in Customizing under Assign Statistics Groups for each Sales Document Item Type

Take care when choosing the selection conditions. If you do not restrict your selection sufficiently, large quantities of data are processed. This may take a long time.

Select at least a sales area and a customer in the selection screen (these are required entries). You can enter ranges and use wildcards.

The system checks hierarchically. For each sales area it checks and display the results as follows:

Sales area

Document type

Customer

Document item type

Material

Note that if a combination has not been assigned, the traffic light will only appear as yellow, as the system cannot determine whether this is intentional or not. The assigned combinations are shown with a green traffic light.
