In this step, you can create profiles for scanning components in the production order.

You can scan the following lists:

  • the general component overview
  • the missing parts

Using a profile, you can determine the criteria according to which the lists are scanned. For example, you can use a profile to specify that a list displays components kept in stock (item category L) with a requirement quantity > 100. For scanning, you can use a maximum of 8 criteria at the same time.

The profile is saved as a user parameter. This means that you can specify for each user the criteria according to which the respective list is to be scanned.

When creating a user parameter, you have to assign the profile to a parameter ID. Please use the following parameter IDs:

ID,,,,Characteristic value

F1F,,,,Profile comes up as a standard value for the general component
,,,,overview when calling up the scanning function.

F2F,,,,Profile comes up for the missing parts list when calling up the scanning function.

Create the necessary profiles.
