In this step you define sets

There are two types of sets:

  • Basic set
A basic set contains the values for a specific field.
You have two options when allocating values:
  • You can specify fixed values and/or fixed intervals.

Fixed values are directly linked to the set. The user cannot change them when the set is used for a capacity evaluation.
For example,if the capacity category "001" (plant) is to be displayed in an evaluation, you can create a basic set for the field "KAPAR" (capacity category), to which you allocate the value "001".
  • You can specify variable values and/or intervals.

You can change variable values when the set is used for an evaluation.
For example, if you want to enter the capacity category when the evaluation is carried out, you have to allocate a suitable variable to the field in the set.
You always have to enter the variable in the set with a leading "&".
You can enter the corresponding values when the set is used for an evaluation. For example, if the initial screen refers to a set with a variable, the system will display a screen on which the user can enter a value for the variable.
  • Multi set
Using the multi set, you can group several basic sets into one set. Thus you can make selections using several fields.
For example, you can define several fields with a fixed value or a variable value which can be entered in the initial screen for the evaluation.
You cannot create multi-sets by combining multi sets.
  1. Create a set, if necessary.
  2. Change a set, if necessary.
  3. Display a set, if necessary.
  4. Delete a set, if necessary.
