The authorization group protects the production resource/tool master records from changes by individual user groups.
The authorization group is part of the PRT master record.
The SAP System checks the authorization in the user master record when you
- create
- change
- display
- delete
a PRT master record of a certain authorization group.
The PRT authorization group is only relevant for the production resource/tool master record (miscellaneous).
Define the PRT authorization groups used in your company.
