Define location groups and the move time matrix.

The system uses the move time matrix in scheduling to calculate themove time between work centers. In the matrix, you can maintain the planned values for the move time within a location group as well as between two location groups.

For each entry, you can maintain a minimum and a standard move time. In the case of a reduction, scheduling is carried out within the minimum move time.

You can only calculate a move time using the move time matrix if both the source and the target work centers are assigned to a location group and the location groups are defined in the move time matrix.

To prevent the matrix from getting too large, you should combine work centers located in the same area into one location group.

1. Define your location groups.
2. Maintain the matrix for the move time.
