You define reporting point types in this IMG activity.

You can define reporting points either at a line or at a line segment in the line design. You assign a reporting point type to each of these reporting points. The reporting point type determines what happens in the event of a reporting point message, for example:

  • Whether capacity is reduced.
  • Whether the components are backflushed.
  • Whether a good receipt is posted.
  • Whether the reporting points that lie before a reporting point of this type (previous reporting point) are automatically backflushed.

  • Choose New Entries.
  • Enter the long name of the reporting point type, and select the desired indicator.
  • Save your entries.
  • You can only define a reporting point whose type allows a capacity reduction at a line. Only the line has an assigned line resource whose capacity can be reduced.
  • You can define two reporting points at each line segment, one at the beginning, and one at the end.
