Define working time models which you can then assign to shipping points.

You maintain information on the actual working hours per shipping point to enable a more accurate time calculation for picking/packing and loading during delivery processing. When you assign a working time model to a shipping point, not only weekends and public holidays are considered (according to the respective factory calendar you assigned to a shipping point), but the actual working hours per day, for example, if a shipping point operates six days a week, but at one of those days only during morning hours.

  1. Define the shifts, for example, a morning shift from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and an afternoon shift from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
  2. Define the shift sequence and assign the shifts to the individual week days, for example, the morning shift to Monday through Saturday and the afternoon shift to Monday through Friday.
  3. Define the working time model and choose the Time Stream (shift models, etc.) category:
  • Enter a key for your new working time model.

  • Assign the related factory calendar.

  • Assign your shift sequence and the respective time zone.

  • Add a comment if applicable.
