Define the billing plan type for milestone billing.

The billing plan type contains rules for billing plan date determination. Here, you can choose the date on which the milestone billing plan starts (for example, today, contract start date, or billing date). You can also edit the billing plan description for future reference.

If you want to use milestone billing in sales order processing with customer down payment, you can mark the Relevant for Down Payment checkbox for type 90.

The system provides the following types of milestone billing plan:

• 90: Milestone billing plan used in sales order processing

• S5: Milestone billing plan used in sales contract processing
