SAP E-Book

You can use the supply indicator to define how each catalog field is supplied with data, and whether it is relevant for engineering change management. The indicator can be used to define the following:

  • Field is taken into account when catalog is created, and during engineering change management (default)
  • Field is taken into account when catalog is created. In engineering change management, changes are adopted, but do not trigger a change message
  • Field is only taken into account when catalog is created. Changes are not adopted and do not trigger engineering change management. This status is preset for all non-ERP fields. As a result, when a catalog is created, the template data is used to supply data to the fields. Manual changes made online are not overwritten as a result of subsequent engineering change management.
  • Data is not supplied to the field during catalog creation or during engineering change management

The settings you make here can be defined in more detail at material group and material level during price catalog maintenance (transaction VPRICAT).
