For price catalog maintenance, it is possible to distribute the catalog fields among various views individually. It is possible to group together all important fields in one or two views, and therefore considerably increase the speed at which relevant data is accessed.

In the first step, you maintain the screen groups. By doing this, you group the catalog fields together. You first create a screen group, and then assign catalog fields to this screen group.

In the second step, you then assign the screen groups to the screen views. The screen views are hard-coded, and correspond to the tab strips in price catalog maintenance. You can assing up to 5 screen groups to each screen view.

You differentiate between fields at material level and unit of measure level.
