In this IMG activity, you define preference document types.

For customs clearance to be carried out according to a preferential customs duty, the importer must submit both the customs declaration for free trade and the documents required for preference verification.

In general, the declarant proves the origin characteristics with an official preference verification.

The "classification of foreign trade documents" field represents the link to print control if a document is printed and updated.

Different preference zones use different certificates.

Here are examples for important preference zones:

Preference zone Preference verification
------------------------- --------------------------------------

  • GPS Blank A
    Form APR
  • EEA Movement certificate EUR.1 or
    declaration of origin on the commercial
    document
  • Mediterranean countries Movement certificate similar to EUR1

In the standard system, this table is empty.

Define a preference document type for each preference verification that your company has received.

GPS: General Preference System

EEA: European Economic Area
