In this step, you determine the distribution function the system should use to carry out the daily distribution in the planning table if the interactive planning function "Distribute to daily rate" is used:

  • The 4-character distribution key does not take the operating time into account for distribution.
  • The 8-character distribution key takes the operating time into account for distribution.

The 4-character distribution key must first be created in the step Define distribution strategy.

The 8-character distribution key must first be created in the step Define distribution according to operating time.

Determine the distribution function.
