Determine control data for stock transfers in the pull list.

The control data is plant-specific and refers only to direct stock transfers. With replenishment using warehouse management (WM) or Kanban, stock determination, for example, is applied. Then, however, the stock determination rule is selected in the respective module when the replenishment element is processed further.

The components which you are providing with the help of the pull list are moved to the issue storage location using a direct stock transfer.

Movement type 311 is used as standard. No separate movement type is set for the transfer of make-to-order stocks, so 311 is also used here.

  1. Determine the plant.
  2. Determine the movement type for the stock transfer. Here, you can choose between the movement types 311 and 411, or other, user-defined movement types.
  • Movement type 311 is when stock is transferred from in-house stock to in-house stock and from consignment stock to consignment stock.

  • Movement type 411 transfers in-house stock to in-house stock, but consignment stock likewise to in-house stock; that is, the system adopts the stock from the supplier when the transfer takes place.

  1. Alternatively, determine the movement type for transfer of make-to-order stock. The standard movement type for this is 311, since make-to-order stock should not be posted to in-house stock when the stock transfer takes place. If you do not enter any movement type, the system uses the movement type for stock transfers.
  2. Determine the stock determination rule which is to be used for direct stock transfers.
  3. Determine the batch determination schema which is to be used for materials to be handled in batches.
