SAP E-Book

For the production backflush, you only define one number range for the backlogs (postprocessing records).

Notes on transporting number range objects:

You can transport number range objects as follows: On the initial screen, choose "Interval - Transport". Note that all the selected number range objects are deleted from the target system so that only the exported intervals are available after the transport. The current number levels are imported with the value they have at the time of the transport. Dependent tables are not transported or converted.

In this workstep, you also assign the number range:

  • Assignment of the number ranges fir backlogs
You assign a number range to every plant for backflog postings.
The same number range can be used in several plants at the same time.

Plant NRnge Valid for Interval

0001 01 1 to 9999999999

0002 01 1 to 9999999999

Backlogs in plants 0001 and 0002 are managed consecutively in number range 01.

Define number ranges with number range intervals by accessing the individual details screens from the screen Number Ranges in Repetitive Manufacturing via Intervals. Then assign these number ranges to the appropriate plant via Number Ranges.
