SIMG_CFMENUORFABEWA1 - Determine Depreciation Areas

In this activity, you determine the depreciation areas in which you want to manage unplanned depreciation. This setting means that unplanned depreciation is permitted in the affected depreciation area; in other words, the system does not issue an error message if the corresponding depreciation terms are entered in the asset master record.

You must have created at least one chart of depreciation of your own.

The country-specific/region-specific charts of depreciation (for example 0US for the USA) contain fully defined standard depreciation areas.

Set the indicator "Management of Unplanned Depreciation" in the depreciation areas in question.
