SIMG_CFMENUORFAOABL - Reset Company Code

In this activity, you can delete test application data (asset master records and transactions) for a company code. This might be necessary, for example, following a test legacy data transfer.

The Customizing settings are not deleted.

• You cannot reload the deleted data again.

• Keep in mind that Asset Accounting data is deleted in this activity, but integrated applications are not considered. Therefore you should only carry out this activity in conjunction with the other applications:

• You should only delete the Asset Accounting data when you also delete the General Ledger Accounting data. Otherwise inconsistencies arise. To do this, choose activity Delete Company Code Data in Customizing for General Ledger Accounting.

• If you are also using the Investment Management (IM) component, the assets under construction belonging to capital investment measures are also reset. This can lead to inconsistencies in relation to the orders/WBS elements, to which the assets under construction belong.

1. The company code you want to reset must be in test status.
2. You must have entered the application data (asset master records and transactions) in the test installation.

1. Set the test status in the assets definition of the affected company code under Define Company Code/Chart of Depreciation Assignment.
2. Start the reset program for the affected company code.
